ITT Enidine Inc. is celebrating fifty years of providing innovative solutions for energy absorption and vibration isolation applications to the aerospace, industrial, rail and defense markets globally.
With a strong history of providing engineering excellence and manufacturing in the Western New York area and employing over 250 people, ITT Enidine is a strong contributor to the local economy.

With customers ranging from commercial airline manufacturers to high rise buildings and automotive manufacturing, ITT Enidine’s products have made it a leader in the area of energy absorption solutions.
In 1966 the company was founded as IDI … with the design of its first industrial shock absorber shortly thereafter. Throughout the years the company has designed, patented and manufactured many critical components for various industrial and aerospace end markets. The name IDI can still be seen in the center of the Enidine name today.
In 2006, ITT Corp., headquartered in White Plains, N.Y. purchased the business to add to its portfolio of industrial and aerospace brands.
