Faulhaber Minimotor has expanded its linear DC servo motor product series with new variants that integrate an axial type connection, making them suitable for operations with limited space requirements. The latest axial coupling also enhances the mechanical sturdiness of the connection to the electronic controller.
The new additions to the linear DC servo motor line-up include the LM 2070 that offers a peak force of up to 10.7 N and the LM 1247, which delivers peak force of up to 27.6 N.
On top of that, these servo motors are also offered in various stroke lengths. The LM 2070 offers stroke lengths from 20 mm to 220 mm, while the LM 1 delivers between 20 mm to 120 mm.
These linear DC servo motors also incorporate sin/cos type sensors, or Hall sensors to fulfill positioning needs without the need for an external encoder. The LM 1247 can be coupled with the new miniature MCLM 3002 controller; while the LM 2070 can be connected to MCLM 3003 or MCLM 3006 drive electronics. Moreover, motion controllers are also offered with CAN or serial interface.
Moreover, the new linear DC servo motors also include Faulhaber’s tiniest motor, the LM 0830, which only weighs 17g and measures 8 x 12 x 30 mm. It also includes an easy to use Motion Manager Software for the analog Hall sensor variant.
Meanwhile, the MC 3002 motion controller targets miniature drives with low power requirements. This compact electronics controller can also be utilized in the DC micro motor operations, as well as brushless and linear DC servo motors.
